Nintendo Still Uninterested in Wii HD
This week Nintendo has reiterated that they aren’t ready for a high definition Wii yet, despite the expectations of analysts and the impending Sony and Microsoft hardware announcements.
Nintendo of American President Reggie Fils-Aime told Forbes today what would have to happen for Nintendo to upgrade their console technology to its next iteration. “When the software developer comes forward with an idea that can’t be executed on the current platform,” he said. “That’s when we start thinking seriously about the next system. We’re not there yet, from a Wii perspective.”
