Japan: Wii, Mario Top Christmas Chart
Wii and New Super Mario Bros. Wii topped the hardware and software rankings in Japan during the week ended December 27.
Wii sales jumped above the 200,000 mark as four games for the system made the software top ten.
Second place was closely contested between DSi and PS3, with Nintendo’s platform edging out Sony’s.
Fourth placed PSP cleared 100,000 units, a figure almost matched by combined sales of DSi LL and DS Lite, which ranked fifth and sixth respectively.
