Wii Gets Ready for Round 2 of NERF N-Strike Fun
Who doesn’t like NERF? Apparently, not enough people to keep Electronic Arts from going back to the well this Fall with NERF 2: “N-Strike” Elite for the Wii.
Developed to coincide with the 40th anniversary of the NERF brand, NERF 2 will follow in the footsteps of its predecessor and hit store shelves with a fully-functional and Wii-capable NERF gun included in the package. The NERF Switch Shot EX-3, seen at right, features a NERF decoder scope which reveals hidden parts of the game when viewed through its ruby lens.
The game is a standard rail-shooter, filled with NERF elements and the ability to customize your in-game gun into “millions” of different configurations. There is also word of enhanced co-op play.
In the end, I would say that this is one time when having an extra plastic peripheral come with a game doesn’t seem like a bad thing at all.
